Are the Christmas decorations up by November 6?

Looking at a weekend trip in November to see the decorations...of course now the availability is terrible due to the closures. I was looking at November 13-16 but there is more open November 6-9. Are the decorations up by then, including the ice lights on the castle?

So, of course, all of this is contingent on the events in the world....however, it is possible that the first MVMCP is on Nov. 6th, if this year's pattern follows past years. That would mean that the Christmas decorations would be up in the Magic Kingdom. However, I wouldn't expect them to be up anywhere else that early. Resorts typically have been closer to Thanksgiving. Other parks are typically in the 2nd or 3rd week of November. I don't have a good sense of when DS decorations go up, but someone here will know that. I just don't want to get your hopes up for a full-on Christmas display because that is not typical during that first week of November. That being said, what's TYPICAL anymore??

We were at Disney a few years ago for the Wine & Dine RunDisney events. Arrived Oct. 30 I believe and stayed for about a week. We attended the first Christmas Party sometime the first few days of November and the decorations were up in MK. Don't believe they were up anywhere else though (certainly not at Yacht Club, where we stayed). Warning that I thought it was super busy--between the RunDisney events, the last week of Food & Wine, and Jersey Week the parks were crazy packed.

MK and HS will be done by that earlier weekend and probably DS, but AK, EP, and resorts won't have much, if anything.

I'm sure it will all be packed anyhow because of people rescheduling. I am making a "just-in-case" booking so if we have to cancel our June trip, at least I'll have something to look forward to. I wonder if AP rates will even come out.

Last year we were there the last week of October and flew home Nov. 2nd. The last MNSSHP was November 1st and on the 2nd they had some of the decorations up in the MK. I didn't go in but my son did before our flight left and he sent me some pics of the light poles decorated. I think the gingerbread house was up at the CR on Nov. 1st - I definitely saw it and got pics on it's unveiling day. A lot of the Christmas merchandise popped up in the stores that week too - oddly enough in the AK more than anywhere else until Nov. 2nd there was a lot of stuff in Disney Springs. Anyway by the 6th you should be able to see some decorations and some of the gingerbread stuff.

I think the lights were up and came on the castle the evening of Nov. 2nd (after we were home). I saw another family's members pics of it - but double check me!

The castle lighting started up on November 3rd last year. On the second they had a variety of wreaths and things up, but the tree on main street and the castle lights weren't on until the next day.

Last year BC’s gingerbread carousel went up on Veterans Day, it was the day I went home. They put the platform down when I did RAC and rope dropped FoP and by the time I came back from AK to get the Tragical Express the whole thing was up and running.

Hollywood Studios was also fully decorated and doing the holiday entertainment that weekend as was MK (I went to the first Xmas party on my arrival night). AK had all of its decorations up too including the Diwali stuff in Asia. They had the winter puppets in Discovery Island as well. This was Nov 8-11 btw.

I will probably look at the 2nd weekend. This is mainly if we have to cancel our June trip and I will probably cancel if we do go in June.
