are the 3 bedroom villas at OKW done with refurb?

exactly what the title says.

my family and i stayed at a 2 bedroom villa at OKW two years ago in a refurbished room and it was absolutely amazing. we plan on going sometime in the next year and would love to stay at a refurbished 3 bedroom (if we can get a reservation lol), but i've heard OKW is still not done with refurbishing some buildings.

No, and they won't be done for a while. They've only completed about 6-8 buildings, I THINK some in Southpoint (but not #51, where we just were), and some in Turtle Pond Road near the tennis courts. When we were there a couple weeks ago, they were working on buildings 46-48, and the ones near the Turtle Pond pool, on the left as you face the pool. The only 3 BR I know of is the one in building 15, know that's not done-none of the HH category are.

Old Key West is in the midst of a refurbishment that just began in late 2017. Whatever style room you stayed in 2 years ago is how most of the resort looks now. 3 bedroom Grand Villas are located in 12 of the resort's buildings. Impossible to know how many of them will be done when you visit. The full refurb is scheduled to run into 2019. No exact completion date is known.

As mentioned - what you had 2 years ago is what still exists at most of the resort. This is a different refurbishment that is going on and just started approx 6 or so months ago.
