Are the 2br at AKV Kidani lock offs??

I believe that Kidani will have both lock-off and dedicated 2 bedroom units. At Jambo House, all 2 bedroom units are lock offs.

When we booked Kidani for June, I asked for a dedicated 2 bedroom and was told that Kidani will only have dedicated rooms.

We bought DVC less than a year ago, but I have already learned not to believe everything that MS tells me, lol, so I don't actually know.

I reserved a dedicated 2 bedroom in Kidani for our upcoming May trip, and the confirmation does show that we have a dedicated 2 bedroom. With small children, we don't want a lock-off. Hope this helps.

I think the CM was probably misinformed. Since a lock-off is just a 1BR & Studio that connect I can't see them only having dedicated 2BRs. That would mean they only have dedicated 1BRs and dedicated Studios as well, which would severely limit the flexibility of room options.

Jambo has only lockoffs. Kidani will have both dedicated 2BRs and lockoffs. You can see floorplans for both types in this thread. For example, Unit 64A contains two 2BR lockoffs. Unit 64C contains one dedicated 2BR.

I just came through the whole AKV concierge cancellation fiasco, so it's not the first time I've dealt with that. Altho I do have to say that as a whole, there are a super nice group of CM's at MS.

What you said absolutely makes sense regarding the rooms.
