Are Tevas normally narrow?

I bought a pair of Teva slides in the size I normally wear.

The sole of the shoe is plenty wide enough, but the fabric to hold your foot into the slide is really narrow. I could only get my toes into the slide. The rest of my foot was too wide.

I even had my son try to put his foot into the slide. Nope.
My sister who is 2 shoe sizes smaller than mine? Nope. Too tight.

I bought them online. It's exchange only as a return policy.

Are Teva slides normally narrow?

I should have bought flip flops.

I use to wear Tevas all the time and I never had problems. I have wider feet, but they always worked for me. Sounds like you may have gotten a bad pair.

I have many pair of Teva's and never thought they were narrow. I wonder if you have a defective pair. It could also be the style you ordered too? What kind did you get?

I find them to be cut a little small. I usually wear a 7 or 8 but my Teva Olawahus (sp?) are 9. Are they flip flops that you bought or sandals? I found that the flip flops ran a little on the small side.

Didn't she used to have something in her signature about food? I can't remember exactly what it was, and I haven't met her, either (even though I'd love to), but her old signature let me to believe that she wasn't narrow.

But to seriously answer your question, I can't buy the regular Teva sandals because they rub on my little toe, so maybe they are cut narrow. Or I have a funky little toe.

I have Teva flip flops. I love them!

When I chose the size, I had to move up a full size from normal. My feet are wide. Maybe this is your cause of the narrow feel.

I tried a pair of Teva sandals that were too narrow for me. The strap was adjustable, but there was a solid band underneath it that was too tight. I was disappointed because I had heard such good things about them, but they were not right for my feet.
