OK, yes, I may be judging, but for CRIPES SAKE, have we not learned a THING from Katrina???? You would think it would be an eye opener. LISTEN AND MOVE when authorities say GET OUT NOW.
Story:
A major dam in Taunton Ma is on the verge of collapsing. A ticking time bomb that will send 6 FEET of water spewing into the neighborhoods. The authorities know it will be catastrophic. The engineers can't touch it until the water recedes. By the Grace of God, it may hold, and then they can fix it. Basically, and I will quote the Governor of MA " We need to cross our fingers and Pray"
Well, now you have the reporters from all the major news stations making this huge. They are "on the scene" ect. Showing us the shelter at High School. Setting up the cots. Watching families leave their houses, going to stay with family members. Schools are closed. The entire downtown was closed for business yesterday. This is serious.
They find them, those reporters do. The stubborn ones, or should I say the idiots? The people who refuse to leave their home, because they think it is all a false alarm. They'll ride it out. They're not leaving their home.
Correct me if I am wrong, but shouldn't we have learned from the Katrina tragedy? I don't get it.

They'll have to wait for the pressure to lessen.... I want to know why on earth a private company owns a damn that basically keeps all the water from any downtown area? That should be city owned and maintained IMHO....
