I ended up making ADRs for both of these on different days. Sanaa for lunch at 2:00 and Boma for a dinner at 5:4o. Since we aren't staying at AKL I'm hesitant to keep both ADRs.

DH really likes Indian food so I was thinking Sanaa would be more for him. I really like trying funky stuff so I thought Boma better for me. Anyway, I just wanted advice to make sure both were different enough that I wouldn't feel like I was repeating the same meal. We only live an hour and a half a way so I could always come back another day. This time we just happen to be staying at Bonnet Creek for the week.

We have never done any TS except once years ago at LTT when they had characters. So Im excited to try new places. I also have ADRs for Chef Mickey breakfast, O'Hana (breakfast and dinner). WCC, 50's PTC, Garden Grill, and Dessert Wishes party.

Anyway...just wanted to make sure Sanaa and Boma were pretty different from each other.

Very different, IMO. Boma is a buffet and Sanaa is not. Boma is African cuisine and Sanaa is much more Indian. The food is NOT the same. Boma is located in Jambo House, and Sanaa is in Kidani Village. They are two of our favorite restaurants and I recommend you try both!

Both are ethnic inspired rather than authentic. I enjoy Sanaa but it's far from authentic Indian. It's a gorgeous restaurant and a nice place to eat.

Boma has a lot more variety and probably more dishes that will be new to you but it's a noisy buffet. It's not a place I enjoy as a party of 2.

As the PPs have said, these restaurants serve very different types of foods. Sanaa is a great restaurant, and certainly much more adventurous with its seasonings than just about any of the WDW dining spots. DH and I think Boma has one of the better buffets.

I agree that they are very different experiences and I would highly recommend both places! I've been to both 3 times and I think the flavors at Sanaa are very Indian influenced and everything I put in my mouth at Boma has been great. 2 of my favorite places to eat in the World, actually. Enjoy!
