Are Roger Rabbit & Gadget's Go Coaster open during Mickey's TTMM?

I was just reading last night in the 2009 edition of The Unofficial Guide to DL that RR and GGC are NOT open until Toontown opens to the rest of the public. :scratchin
Is that really true?! :confused3

If so, that's kinda annoying! That was one of the reasons I was so excited about our MTTMM tickets...that we would be able to ride those 2 rides with little to no wait time, before the rest of the public could get access to them. :sad1:

Also, can you get a FP for RR during that MTTMM early entry hour?
Or do you have to wait until Toontown opens to the general public to get a FP for RR?

Anyone know anything/experienced MTTMM recently?

TIA!! :flower3:

I don't think they are. TT opens early for a ceremony not for rides. And the FP machine won't open until TT opens to the rest of the park.

Actually they are, but not till after the ceremony ends, you can ride them instead of seeing mickey if you wanted to. However, its a great Photo op for all the Characters, and it takes a little while for everyone to get all the way through the park to toon town. I rode both of them after I saw the characters, but it was only like 2 or 3 minutes before they undid the chains and let the rest of the public in.

good info...thanks!

Strange, cause I was told by someone else that the show didn't start till like :30 past the hour and she rode RR and GCG 2 times each BEFORE the show even started??! :confused3

Anyone else have any recent experiences at MTTMM w/ rides being open?
Feel free to share! :-) :goodvibes
Thanks!

Well maybe it's different every time. I haven't done it for years (we have APs now so we don't qualify) but I remember when we did it neither ride was opened until (as Teki said) after the ceremony. And we had kids who wanted to see characters so we did that instead of rides. :)
