I will have to call in the a.m. but thought I would ask here first. We never thought to ask before buying or even when we booked our upcoming first DVC trip! We travel with a nebulizer and meds that need to be in the fridge. We have always been given a early check in when were were regular $ paying guests in regular rooms. Our home resort is BLT so I know no one will have first hand experience there just yet.
Thanks!

Members are allowed into rooms as they are made available. If you room is ready at 9am, you can have access at 9am. But officially check-in time is "after 4pm" and it may be late afternoon before the room is available.

Bell services has refrigerated and frozen storage if you need to cold-store items before the room is available.

As said the rooms are made available once they are vacated and cleaned. You might want to consider on line check in if you do not have any room requests. That way they will know when you are coming in and if it is early that may help in getting a room assigned early.

You can ask at check in if a room is ready and they may reassign your room accordingly. It's not something they put forethought into though, not that they do most of the requests. It really shouldn't make any difference for which resort it is as to how it's handled though the % and specifics may vary from one resort to another. The reality is you're just as likely to check in at 9 am and your room not be ready until after 4 and someone who checks in at 2 may get their room right away. IMO, this is one of the areas where DVC falls significantly behind other top timeshares and most of the mid level ones as well.

You could book a room for the night before, and tell them you'll be arriving in the AM. I've thought about doing that and asked MS and was told that there are members who do that very thing.
