Are RC kids clubs similar to Disney?

Have sailed on the Dream and Magic now I am exploring the idea of trying a RC cruise, I have a 8 year old and a 3 year old. Would they be in the same kids club on a RC cruise? Or separated? Thanks

they are more broken up by age range than disney. They have separate rooms for 3-5 year olds, 6-8 year olds, and 9-11 year olds. Then they have tween and teen programs.

Aslo, one big negative we had on RC (Oasis) last year was that the kids clubs (they call it Adventure Ocean on RC) were not open the first night/embarkation day. It was registration only. They should advertise this prominently. We had reservations to see Hairspray the first night but had to forego it because and stay with the kids,

As said before, they would be separated. My DD (now 9) has been cruising since she was 6 months. On our Freedom of the Seas cruise this summer this was the first time that she was asking us to go to the kids club. She loved it there! On Disney (she has been on all 4 ships) she thinks there's just too much chaos and too many kids running around. There are times with the planned activities that she likes going there but only for small doses like an hour or so. On Royal she really enjoyed being with her age and a smaller group.

The Royal clubs are free until 10pm and after that there is a charge. They are not open (as stated before) on the first night and do close for lunch and dinner. It's more of a morning, afternoon and evening session. The sessions are themed.

Hope this helps!

My kids loved the kids club on Disney but I didn't like how unstructured it was. I think I'd prefer something more like royal's kids club. All our cruises on royal have been adults only so far.
