Are prices locked in?

If I book a vacation package now will they give me the price for now, or for the time we will be there? For example, if I book now it's 2006 prices, but I am not going until 2007. Do they adjust it when the rates come out for 2007 or am I locked in at the 2006 price?

Deposit at '06 prices, but your total will reflect the '07 prices. If things go up (if? LOL) you'll owe a little more...

The only way to lock in is to pay the package in full. In the small print the can raise the price of your package if rates increase prior to you paying in full

Actually, I don't believe paying in full will even lock in prices for a dates for which final pricing has not yet been released.

WDW has not released any package pricing for 2007 travel as of yet, and you can't book any packages for 2007.

You can book a room only, as long as your travel dates are 500 days or less.

Disney has not established the room only rates for 2007 as of yet either. Until they are released, any prices for travel in 2007 are subject to change. While the quoted rate does allow for the room to be held, Disney reserves the right to change it if the official rate is higher or lower. Disney can not guarantee the total room price at this time.

If you pay in full now, that's all you owe. If it's just money down they will add on for their annual or often semiannual rate hike. But with your park passes, get them ASAP as they do go up at least twice a year and once you have purchased them they can't raise the prices on you.

I don't recall Disney raising park passes more than once in a year. Also, though I doubt we'll see this again anytime soon, the price change before the most recent one was actually a decrease, for many guests.
