Are point charts calendar year or UY?

Trying to understand which point chart would apply for a reservation. For example, say you have a December UY, my understanding is that you would be in the 2017 UY as of February 2018. If you book a stay for the Spring of 2018 with those points would the 2017 point chart apply or the 2018 point chart?

Point charts have nothing to do with the day you make your reservation or your UY. The dates on the point charts are the dates of your reservation.
