Are pins traded on the cruise?

I'm cruising on the Disney Wonder in April and am wondering if people trade pins on that cruise or is it just a landlocked phenomenon? I've never done it before (cruising OR pin trading), but I think my DD (8) and DS (3) will enjoy it.

We got started with trading on our first cruise, and we got home from our 3rd today. I think we traded about 100 times and the guest services dept. sent us an award as being the family with the most pins traded on board.
