I am supposed to fly out of the Boston area on Monday 9/17....My whole family thinks I'm crazy and I am putting my children in jeapody. Is anyone going to go down this week if they can get out of their airport?

We were supposed to fly out of Laguardia on Tues. 9/18. I really don't see that happening. I don't think that air travel will be normal by then. We are still considering driving down from LI. I really do not know what to do now. We had booked the "kids go free" promotion. We had booked through WDW travel. I have not even called to see what kind of refunds and/or rescheduling policies they have. I just don't know what to do.

Yes, we were originally supposed to fly out this morning, but have rescheduled for Sunday morning. Southwest has resumed flights today, so I think our flight will be operating out of New Orleans (that's what they're saying anyway). Looks like it will be beautiful weather too since the storm will have moved over Fla.

We are supposed to leave from lga thursday and still plan on doing so if the flights are moving. I work in NYC and all this has really weirded me out...and I could use a little disney right about now. I HATE to fly... but i keep saying to myself that it is probably safer flying now than it was when I was last in WDW in March.

I heard on the news just now that Delta out of Indy cancelled 50% of their flights due to the storm in FL.

I am still planning on flying from Manchester to Orlando on Southwest this Tuesday 9/18 in the early a.m. My heart is truly not in it though, when many many people are grieving over lost ones. But this was a very special trip for just me and my youngest (4 yrs.) son. He has no clue as to what just happened this week. How could I ever explain to him that Mommy has cancelled our long-awaited trip to Disney?? Hopefully, when I get on property, I will be able to smile again, but not right now.... :(
