Are only snack credits marked?

This may be a completely obvious question but we are DDP newbies... When at the parks, are the menu's "marked" in a certain way for the DDP? I'm thinking mostly of QS meals... Or are just the "snacks" marked? Am I limited to certain choices anywhere on my entree selections or is everything on the plan? Same question on desserts... For example, I can order one item under entrees, one item under desserts and one non alcoholic drink with no limitations?

Finally, I assume anything with the snack marking (the blue square with DDP on it) is considered a snack (I've noticed chocolate milk has the "snack" mark so this can be included if I'm getting a meal but I can also get it as a "snack" when not dining?). Thanks!

yes snack credits have the ddp sign indicated next to them so you know they apply.

CS and TS you can have any entrée and dessert plus soft drink.

The above is not always the case that ANYTHING under $5 counts as a snack. There are some exceptions.

They don't mark anything except snacks, because there are so few exemptions for meal credits that it isn't worthwhile to mark those.

There are limitations on the non-alcoholic drinks. Basically it refers to fountain drinks such as soda, coffee, tea, iced tea, lemonade. I think of it as the type of beverages that can be found at self-serve machines or would be included in unlimited refills at a table service restaurant. You can also get bottled waterand you can ask about getting another bottle of water in place of the dessert.

There are many other non-alcoholic beverages at CS venues such as specialty coffee drinks, sparkling water, specialty bottled sodas, smoothies, frozen beverages that are usually not included, but you can ask if something interests you because the Disney owned venues are more liberal in their interpretation of the dining plan rules. At the third party venues which are reimbursed by Disney according to the guidelines you are less likely to get anything beyond the standard fountain beverages.

As far as milk - I know it's an option with kid's meals, but I don't know if it can be ordered as part of an adult's meal.
