Are new members loaded on weekends?

Just wondering if the new members are loaded on the weekends? We are waiting to be loaded into the system, so, we are calling on a daily basis to check to see if we have appeared. So, should we call on the weekend, and on Memorial Day on the holiday? (Or does member services close on the "normal" holidays?)

I think MS is closed on Monday. It probably won't happen over the weekend because all the Administrative Offices are usually closed over the weekend.

And I heard the guy handling your new contract is on vacation for a few weeks. (nah, not really)

Many members are loaded on weekends and Holidays, but usually sober up by the day after. (Sorry, couldn't resist!)

MS will be open tomorrow, but closed on Monday. You can certainly call on Sunday to see if there is any change in the status of your new account.

I closed just a few days ahead of you. We were already members, so my member ID didn't have to be set up, but my points showed up in the system last Monday. You should see your stuff any day now. Keep us posted!

Thanks guys. I will call again tomorrow. I've been calling for a few days, and I am starting to get repeat people. I wonder if they remember me? (Not that I really care!) I cancelled my cash reservation for out trip, so, I can't wait to book to find out where we will be staying! I will probably be so shocked once we are loaded into the system that I wont be able to speak to actually make the reservation! I'm also ready to buy MNSSHP tickets and our annual passes, but, am waiting for the DVC discount!

We are traveling October 8-16th. Cannot wait!!! We are going on a Carnival cruise that leaves on June 25th. We are leaving on the 22nd to head down. DH and I discussed stopping by DTD bc I can't imagine driving by Disney and not stopping. He then said, well, we could always stay there for 2 nights if you would like instead of Cape Canaveral. Oh, the temptation!

Uh, oh, it could be hard getting anything at all during that time frame now. October gets booked up early because of all the goings on.

Yes, and that includes the Columbus Day holiday, so it could be tough for some of those days. As long as you don't mind moving around though, I think you will find something.

When I went to the food & wine festival last year, many people were loaded on weekends........
