I made these ressie's back in June. I go back & forth reading reviews and makes me 2nd guess my choices. The only one I have done on here before was CRT breakfast with my 13 yr old when she was 5. Now wanna take my 6 yr old for her Birthday. Any thoughts are appreciated.:goodvibes We have never done the dining plan so I hope it is well worth it for my family of 4.

Arrival December 9: Ohana Dinner

December 10: Sci-Fi Diner

December 11: CRT Breakfast

December 12: Chef Mickey’s Breakfast

December 13: Whispering Canyon Dinner

December 14: LeCellier Lunch

Just a suggestion (it was also given to me). Since CRT takes 2 table service credits, the suggestion was made to OOP for this, thus giving yourself an opportunity for 2 more meals.

We did it, I think it was about $39.00 per person (adults).

Have a great time!

Thanks Cathy!! You mean pay for that and add 2 more ressie's?? Is the CRT breakfast worth it? We had done the Dinner last year. Do you get a photo package with the CRT Breakfast too?

Yeah, that is what I mean. Worth it? Well, $39 is a lot to pay for scrambled eggs, sausage & fruit, but that is really not what you pay for. But what was worth it was the other 2 $100+ dollar meals we didnt have to pay for. I'd say in the end it was worth it.

We did get the photo package. One large photo & 4 smaller ones. (we had a party of 8, so we actually got two poses this way).

You can choose to eat either a traditional breakfast or some fruit/yogurt thing. You can tell from my description that I got the traditional breakfast. It included fresh fruit & muffins & other pastries. My plate had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon & potatoe caserrole. All of which was great. Oh yeah, orange juice too.

I would say it was worth it - for the princesses. We were greated downstairs by Cinderella, then upstairs by Snow White, Jasmine, Belle (blue dress) & Aurora. All 5 were very nice. They all let us take as many pictures as we wanted. No rushing.

I'd do it again!

Thanks again, Cathy! So you get a photo with Cindy downstairs? My daughter's Birthday is on Dec 5 so we celebrating her Birthday. I wanted to do a cake, you think Breakfast is a bad time to order a cake? Trying to figure when I could do that.

Funny conicidence, my DD birthday is Dec 10 - pretty close.

Anyway, we just returned from WDW a week of so ago. We celebrated by sisters birthday (and our anniversary) the entire week. Call back and tell the dining people to add a note that you are celebrating a birthday. Also, when you check in at the restaurant, remind them you have a birthday. We had 8 table service meals total and at each one of them my sister got a certificate and/or a yummy dessert with a candle. Actually, at CRT, they brought a certificate signed by Cinderella then told us that all the other Princesses would sign it too - just ask. It was cool. So, as far as ordering a cake for her, you COULD skip it & just use all the free yummy desserts that they provide anyway. But, being that she is 6, she might want the cake. Tough choice. I dont know if the timing at CRT is there. With the Princesses & then the Wish Making, then of course eating breakfast - you might feel rushed? Also, do you want cake for breakfast?

Oh yeah, also when youi check in to your resort, as them for a birthday button. It has Mickey & Minnie on it and says "Happy Birthday" and they write your name on it. Just about every CM said Happy Birthday to my sister. She wore it all week. It really will get her some attention.

Thanks again Cathy!!! I know you can get the button at Magic Kingdom but was not aware at hotel. I did tell them about DD's Birthday when I called for reservations. I think I will skip the cake at CRT breakfast.

We did CRT this past January. I felt like it wasn't very well organized. We spent a lot of time waiting, and interestingly enough, I think that was the MOST waiting we did on the whole trip, so I guess that's why it stands out in my mind. The food was pretty blah, I thought. Basic scrambled eggs, potatoes, etc. I feel like there was one pretty good pastry, maybe....

That said, there is NOTHING like being inside that castle for a little girl -- just NOTHING. It's a magical setting. My little one loved the character interaction, though I must say that there weren't very many princesses - we got the picture with Cindy and then Belle (in blue and white) came around at breakfast. There were lots of other characters and they were sweet - they just weren't princesses.

I think it's a terrific birthday idea. Just a thought: you could order ahead and get one of those slipper desserts - they're so cute!

Thanks, sounds to me like Disney has NOT improved the CRT Breakfast since I was there with my 13 yr old when she was 5 in 1999. What a shame and you expect way MORE at Disney and especially at the Castle. Alot of people say you go there for the atmosphere and not the food. That is so terrible that is what it comes down to with the cost as well. We had dinner at CRT last year and that was sooo rushed. We had done the glass slipper there. Granted got the beautiful photos in lobby with Cindy but overall I did not care for the rushing. We also had done Lunch last year at Norway with the Princesses and we enjoyed that. I actually hesitated on doing it again instead of Castle. I know once I release that ressie I will NOT get it back.
