are my points transferable?

Before I post in the rent/transfer forum, I want to be sure that I can. Don't want to offer up points if I can't really give them.

I have 14 points left from my Dec. 2012 UY. They are non-bankable. Does that mean I can still transfer them to someone to be able to use by the end of Nov. this year? I've not done any transfers before. Wish I had known about transfers sooner (I knew about renting). I just have so little internet time these days.

Dec 2012 points so they are current points that did not get banked? If so, then yes, they could be transferred.

You're such a wealth if information, Kat! Yeah, I'm not sure why they were non-bankable other than either just missing the baking window OR they weren't used properly last time we did our banking/borrowing/using to book. I'm such a mess.

If the points are non-bankable because they were originally 2011 banked points that somehow didn't get used properly then you would not be able to transfer them so you would need to clarify if it's because the banking window was missed or because they were previously banked.

You can transfer current points (even one's that are past the banking deadline) but not banked or borrowed points.

I suspected as much. Until recently, I thought all MS people knew what they were doing and followed directions. YEah, I'm glad I kenw enough to catch one last month sitting on her rump. So I'm not susprised when I was booking something last time, something was messed up and I was too green to notice. Oh vell! I'll see if someone can use them. THANKS Kat!
