Are my booking dates correct, am I planning this correctly?

Ok, so if I wanted to book my home resort, OKW, for the dates of October 5-12, 2019, I am going to have to use my 2019 and 2020 points. So my 11 month out date would be November 5, 2018, correct? Will I be able to do that then, using both year's points then? I want to make sure and get into the close to HH category.

The 11-month window for a stay beginning Oct.5, 2109 will open on Nov. 5, 2018. To be able to book using borrowed points, it will depend on your UY. Someone with a Dec UY would not be able to use 2020 points for an Oct. 2019 stay because the reservation would actually fall in their 2018 UY.

Dates you call to book just follow the calendar and have nothing to do with what points you are using.

What points you can use depend on your UY and the date of the stay. If the date of the stay allows you to use 2019 points and borrow 2020 points then you'll be able to do that when the 11 month booking window opens on Nov 5th.

Then you are correct that for an October 2019 stay you can use both the current Sept 2019 points and borrow 2020 points. The booking date is Nov 5th. Borrowing is done at the same time that you are making the reservation.
