I've never been to WDW in the summer. Just curious if they are worse down there this time of year. And, are they any worse at OKW?

Thanks!

I was there in July last year. They spray at night while people are sleeping at OKW. I never experienced a bug problem of any kind while vacationing at OKW. I have been there for 17 vacations. I have seen many more lizards than bugs, in fact more rabbits than bugs at OKW.

I am a mosquito magnet and I've never had a problem at Disney.

Be careful after dark, especially near water. We were in building 40 2 weeks ago and sat out one night to see if we could see Illuminations. Unfortunately, trees blocked most of our view and the next morning I noticed bites all over my legs. There was a pond behind our building. I did see a guy spraying the bushes one morning.

I think the only mosquito I saw was at Animal Kingdom. In the tree, in It's Tough to Be a Bug.

We went many years ago to Florida in August and stoped at Fort Lauderdale first. The bugs were terrible. A couple of days later we were at WDW. After a day my DW and I both noticed that there wasn't a bug in sight. We thought wow, they must really spray. That afternoon we went to, I think, Treasure Island. We got off the boat and there was a trash barrel with flies. A weird felling came over both of us and I said "no, there is probably some guy in a room full of computers working these mechanical flies." If it doesn't fit the program then it doesn't get in the park.

We never saw a bug or fly any where else.:-)
