I had a teacher who made us write them then kept them to mail them to us in 10 years. She must've forgotten them, went to retire and found them and mailed them, 2 years after she should've. So close enough!

And I was a smart aleck even then cuz I after I wrote a person I wrote a real job. I also said my favorite hobby was food and my best friend was my dog. Haha I don't think I knew what to write so I tried to be funny. I also drew all over the back of the page cuz I ran out of stuff to say.

It really made me laugh and it shows that I was just as sarcastic and smart alecky then as I am today.

hah that sounds like a really cool thing to get in the mail tho!

That was a great idea. What's wrong with sarcastic and smart alecky? Those that know me well would say I resemble that remark.

What I want to know is how she knew where to mail it! I had been through at least four different addresses 12 years after I was 13. Now we know how old you are! You have a lot of adventures ahead of you (at least I did at that time!)

Self addressed envelope. I didn't recognize my own handwriting. Although I was so confused when it was addressed to my nickname and not my full name. Shoulda been a clue and what's sad is that I saw on Facebook a lot of my classmates families have moved from those addresses so they never got their letters and are super jealous of those that did.

My parents haven't it was addressed to their house. I moved for school. Now that I'm done with all my school stuff I'm looking to move anywhere I can get a job. I figure I could live somewhere like Hawaii or LA or DC for a few years while all I have to my name is a neurotic cairn terrier

As a women, that is married to a wonderful person, and STUCK in DC, I would tell you to move, learn, enjoy and be free, travel and then settle down and accumulate stuff, but for now, live and be free...

I wish I had done more as a young adult...
