Argh the house appraised 10k under contract price. Keep your fingers crossed for me but we won't be bringing 10k more at closing
I may be naïve, but why is it important that the appraisal came in under the selling price of the house?![]()
The bank will only base the loan on the appraised value. They want to make sure they can get their money back if they foreclose on the house.
What a week! So glad hump day is over.
So some news
Seller came down 5k
Seller also fixed roof which we planned to do
Trying to see if we can find a way to bridge the remaining gap.
Well we are gonna go look at the repairs tomorrow after work. They said they did/are repairing patio roof and secured a/c which are the 2 things we were def gonna do

Morning everyone....
Work and life have been crazy around me. Hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to the weekend.
Hi Brandi!
Bella - that test sounds bizarre. Did you really swallow a cookie? I am glad it is going well tho!
Jetski - ugh!!! Sending healing vibes your way. Woohoo on the cruise docs!!

I still have my fingers crossed for you!!! I hope everything gets taken care of and there is no problem with the loan.
I hear you...things have been crazy here too. I am so ready for the 3-day weekend.
I got my cruise documents in the mail this week so now I need to really get down to business of figuring out what I need to buy before the trip. I think I have my son finished (he needed new shorts and swimsuits). But my DD is not cooperating. I told her if she doesn't start checking out her closet this weekend and trying things on, she may be stuck in jeans and t-shirts (and that won't be fun in July, LOL).
What is really bothering me though is my back and neck. I thought I was done with this, but the pain is back again. Of course, it has to show up one month before out trip
It happened a month ago and went away quickly so I am giving it a couple of days. But this time it doesn't seem to be going away. Time to go break out the medication again, I'm afraid.
I have a follow up with my doctor scheduled for next month anyway but I may need to get in to see her sooner.
Yep. It's as weird as it sounds. My doctor told me I was going to have to eat pudding, drink water, and eat cookies. He said it like it was the coolest thing in the world. It was a normal pepperidge farm chesspiece cookie with a barium laced frosting. Which she had to feed to me. Which was soooo wicked awkward as she was a lot shorter and i wasnt allowed to move. And I just drank water, taking sips when they told me to. No pudding![]()
probably one of the weirdest tests I've had done related to this stupid surgery.

Ugh sending tons of hugs your way. I'm sorry it all came back. Hoping it goes away before your trip!
Wow, that is bizarre...but I guess it could be a whole lot worse. Did the cookie taste good at least?
Thanks...I'm getting so frustrated with this. I'm going to ask the doctor more about the surgery. I don't want to have to keep dealing with this forever if the surgery will help. She said it was a very non-invasive micro surgery, so it might just be worth doing and getting it over with.
