Alison, I am sort of in the same boat...

David is taking care of his kids, but I am leaving all mine to charity, and service organizations, since I do not have kids...

I am trying very hard to spend everything and enjoy life and not leave to much behind...

My one thing that I have no figured out what to do with is my Grandmother's pearls. She gave them to me and I really do not know what to do with them....

I have to come up with an idea sooner or later...

Maybe my brother will get married one day and have kids....

huh. We aren't having kids and I have not given any thought to this. I don't expect an inheritance from anyone either. I do have my grandmother's pearls as well and I suppose I could gift them to a cousin's kid...

but, maybe I will think of something before that happens... I do have it in my will that David's daughter does not get any of my stuff.

I know that sounds harsh, but she has David, his Mom and Step dad, her mom and her mom's parents. She does not need any of my stuff, so I am giving it away to people who might actually like it or benefit from it.

Then we are meeting a couple for dinner at the Green Turtle, we met them on the cruise in February...

It can be either, but we will have it as a trundle. This way we can turn it into a king for when couples come to visit, but store it when not in use.

So I bought that bedding as the twin portion, but seriously debating buying it again as a king, so when I make it up as a king it will look the same...

I was also thinking of buy one of those Gel King mattress toppers, and making it up with the topper to make the "Crack" disappear and make more comfy, but David thinks I am sinking too much $$$$ into a room for guests.... Who will use it maybe once a year for two weeks total....

Ah that sounds great! Yeah I was thinking a thing for the crack might help. Why don't you try it without it at first and see how it feels? I think you can find cheaper things for that too... that specifically just go in the crack

They look easy peasy too and not too expensive!!! Just dropcloths with clip on hooks. I want the outside area to be very relaxing plus those support posts aren't very pretty

Then my ultimate goal is to install a ceiling fan or 2 on the patio as well

This is the one I was thinking about and I was thinking I could roll it up and store in the closet.

The price difference is not that much between the two.

But I had looked at those before also. I had one at one time and I could never get to lye straight, it was made of some kind of foam.
