Are Moo Moo's And Boo Boo's Doomed?...Part 5

Finally made it back here and now I need to see how many pages I need to catch up on unless someone has a quick summary they'd like to share.

OK...

Brandi, it's great to hear your Dad is home and doing better.

Tiffany, congrats as it sounds like you're moving long on your new home and I hope the insurance situation works out soon.

Alison, see you soon. One more work day this week and then I'm off.

Good luck... I wouldn't stress too much. Think you hit the major points here.

Bella may/might have been on tv, in a feature on Boston therapy (comfort) dogs. forget when . ...

I locked my keys in my car.

AND. Am making chia pudding. Because I poured milk in the chia seed container- instead of my dhs smoothie. Oops.

Surprise! I snuck in to see what is going on with y'all.

Hugs to those who need them. Sorry about the keys locked in the car. And to hear about the extended shopping trip before the hockey game.

Congratulations on the soon to be house! :woohoo: And shame on that nasty insurance agent! :furious:

Between work, home, family and a trip to visit my 97 year old uncle on Cape Cod, it's been a hectic year. We may have to buy my DH a new car. His has been in the shop 4 times this year and is scheduled for a radiator replacement on Friday morning. :scared1:

The good news is he let me schedule a few days at HHI in September. :woohoo:

Sorry about the keys in the car, that always wrecks a good day. Your chia pudding had me :lmao:.

He is doing great... He is getting back to normal, and his sugars have been wonderful...

TGIF Boo Boo's! Busy weekend for me!

Today: working and take dog to vet (blah) and then tonight going over to friends' house to get things ready for tomorrow

Tomorrow: Ken-ducky derby! Helping out and hanging out - hoping to score something in the silent auction maybe!

Sunday: My cousin is gonna drop by in the morning to finally meet our dog (he lives near Fort Lauderdale but is coming up for a concert) and then we are going to see War Horse! Yippee!!

Then next week will be kinda normal for a bit - M-W - and then Thursday is inspections and I have to start baking because Saturday will finally be our big walk!

Tiff, that does sound busy!

I am hoping to get a mint julipt in before the margs start!...

Baking..... I need to bake something for Cinco De Mayo and I was thinking brownies, with Cayenne in them? A play on Mexican Hot Cocoa?

Anyone got any ideas?

Brownies sound delicious! I have also had mexican chocolate cookies that were great!

Or some kinda lime pie with some tequila in it? Or something else tequila lime-y?

Hey Boo Boos!!! Happy Friday!

I'm going to try really hard to catch up on this thread over the weekend. I have been in work H-E-double toothpicks for that last two weeks :scared:
It is making me miserable and I'm not sure what to do about it. :(

I can tell the month of May is going to be a blur... I need to get some serious shopping done this weekend (Mother's Day, birthday, teacher appreciation week, etc).

On a positive note, I have been distracting myself with preparations for the upcoming cruise. I had DS pull out all his summer clothes and try things on so I can see what I need to buy for him (just a couple of shorts and swimsuits). I also need to find his good dress clothes to see if anything from last year still fits.

Next up will be DD and she hates trying clothes on so she will be harder.

I don't even want to think about my own clothes. I put on so much weight the past year with my neck problems/medication that I don't know if I have anything that fits. I did buy myself a nice swimsuit/swimdress that I really like and that makes me feel a little better.

Come on June.....

 hope the work life gets better, or that you find a place that makes you feel better, I always hated being miserable at work, then last time that happened for me I was able to get a transfer to another Dept.

Today is my 9th year with the same company, I have never worked with the same company this long...

Looking forward to your cruise is a wonderful distraction.

I too hate trying on clothes, and I always had to go buy something, this last one, I actually got to pull some previous stuff out, so that was nice. I understand the medical / weight gain, almost 60 pounds with me. I have finally dropped 30 of it, but still got more to go.

I know you can do it, but it is not quick.

 for the work crap...

Ugh I have put on a lot from an injury, getting the dog, and then stress. :( I have to buy new clothes for my trip and not excited. Altho since I have still been exercising (altho not the last few weeks bcz of house stuff) even tho I am nearing my high weight I am still a few sizes down from my highest size.

I hope work gets better or you find something else!!

That's pretty creepy! Ill have to bee careful. Not tyat I chew gun or have any cigarette butts. I do have long hair that gets caught in everything!

I'm working on the whole weight loss thing. I was down 16 pounds from my highest weight and then I went to WDW. That set me back 6-7 lbs. Then the cruise set me back another 8-9. I'm almost back to the post WDW weight. But Fran seems determined to lose now, so that helps. The hot weather is helping too. Salads sound better than hot foods drenched in calorie laden sauces.

The science and engineering I think is really cool, but it is kinda creepy...

David of course thinks it is super creepy ,and does not understand my cool part...
