I can see where that works out. We just have a TON of points. When I bought them I figured I would rent some of them out, but I also thought we would be staying over at CA more often because we had a F&W festival then. Now they've canceled it.

Aw man, that stinks. How many points do you have per year. We have 100 at BWV and 100 at Aulani. But we are using all 300 at Aulani this June and then 291 at GCV in November... so that's why we are low. Oh yeah also doing a night at BWV in Sept for like 20 or 30 points (I forget, lol). When we bought I said we would ALWAYS be happy with studios but somehow ALL these reservations are 1BR and we have invited other people to stay (and different ones for each trip). haha! Well we go to Disneyworld a LOT less now (and don't even have passes) since we started cruising...

We have 888 between SSR, VGC, VWL and BCV. We used to get studios at VGC, and that's how we budgeted our points for F&W plus our band weekend and a couple other events. I was thrilled when Fran said that she NEVER wanted to stay in a studio again! We always do a 1br or bigger at WDW, but we can't go that much to use that many points. We figured that with F&W at CA we could use the points for the wine dinners and stuff.

We would go to WDW at least once a year and sometimes bring friends so no problem. With Aulani we figured we could be OK, but with years of not going because of her leg, we are behind now!

So we bought the 100 BWV pts resale to use on our honeymoon .. and we did. Then I took a nap on a cruise and woke up and bought Aulani before U was full cognizant. Then there was the whole issue with the dues being wrong and we ended up with them subsidized so that was a foolish deal

Shops are opened. Our dishwasher is on its last legs. It will cost $$$$ to repair and we figured we might be better off getting a new one. :

Oh I don't even want to go into it, long and short, she had this really long standing illness in her leg which made it swell up five or six years ago. Turns out her blood valves were not flowing properly and the blood was not flowing out of her foot so she was swelling, we thought it was water all those years, turns out it was blood.

Then last year she broke out in the terrible wounds on her leg, she had these wounds that opened up from the inside from the pooling of the blood. She had two surgeries that debrided her wounds, and finally the wounds have all healed up. I have to keep checking her legs to see that no other wounds have opened up, and so far we're good. She only has scabs on the last two that they signed her off with. She has one more appointment and if they don't find anything new, they will clear her case. It has been a year now. I take it that she has been their longest patient and hardest to heal, but not completely sure.

I'm thinking of making some kind of savory Florentine crescent rolls since Fran needs to eat spinach every day. We need dessert!

Our UY is September. There are a variety of UY at the resorts, but I think they only have March, April, June, September, and October. There may be one or two others, but those are the only ones that I've heard people talk about.

We have an August UY. I'll need to hit you up for June 2014 in the Fall for our Aulani trip if our waitlist on the VGC doesn't come through. I might put in an offer on a SSR 50 point resale contract next week, but it's stripped.

Oh my! Well I hope all goes well at that appointment and she will be healthy! That sure does sound like a lot to go through
