ETA: to add insult to injury... Epsn score center sent me an alert saying the bruins GM made a mistake and thought they had made a trade, but Iginla is going to the penguins instead.

I'm booking it DVC on the 7 months window. So I booked Oct 26-nov 2 then each day I call and move it one day forward (drop oct 26 and add nov 3) until I get the real dates I want (Nov 2-9). It goes so fast at 7 months because it's the ONLY dvc resort at disneyland!

Ahhhh you're walking the reservation. I did that one year with NYE. I know how small it is and the demand there. I have the most of my DVC points at that resort and I live closer to DL than you do to WDW!

COOL!!!!!!!!! I am meeting up with another friend there too! One I've known through crafting and blogs for a long time (like 10 years?!?!?!). And a friend might come with us for the week too! It's going to be an awesome week!

Yup I am and I feel like a giant JERK but it's the only resort there and we want the week of my husband's birthday! It will also be just shy of our 5 year anniversary (leaving about 2 weeks before) and we made a plan to try a new disney park each 5 years... so we have to make it work! He has the week off work already and if he had to try and change it no guarantees there either.

Thank you! I had 2 other ppl check before I started moving it (since I had a sat-sat) and have been calling right at 9am to move. I also check later in the day and the first day has even still been available!!!

Hmmmmmmmm I dunno I've never tried an adult beverage...

My room? hehe I am booking a 1 bedroom since we *may* have friends joining us (but we haven't told them yet that I booked a 1 BR bcz I don't want them to feel guilty if they don't come. Since I have other friends driving down from Sacramento to visit I will let them crash if my friends don't come along... if they want). So I'll have a living room available in the Grand Californian!

This trip is going to be sooooooo crazy... we have friends possibly joining ... and I hope they do! We met on a DCL cruise back during Halloween 2011 and just hit it off instantly. Well she got divorced and might bring her current beau... anyways she is a CM (actually he is now too) so not only would we enjoy her awesome company but also free admission and other perks! If she comes we will also visit Walt's grave, the original Disney Store, and a few other things. She is even trying to get us into club 33 (and I'll be 33!!) and I told her if she does we will treat (since we'd be saving like $600 on park tix anyways... that will pay for dinner!) So excited!!!!

Called this morning and got my 2nd night reserved at Disneyland! Only 5 more days to call and our hotel stay will be booked!

Well I called right at 9 and got another day added to my trip. Actually got the same CM and he was like "Hey I remember you from yesterday!" lol. So before I even said anything he was like "So you want to change the california reservation by one day, right?" hahaha I said yes and he was like "So what is your ultimate check in date you want" and when I said Nov 2 he was just like "Ah ok so you have a few more days left to call)... didn't seem annoyed. And when we hung up he said they would be awaiting my call tomorrow - LOL!

Oh that reminds me... my husband takes calls and whenever he finds out he is talking to a castmember he ends the calls with "Have a magical day"... It makes them
