It was a lot of fun, but it reminded me of how long it had been since I had actually been to a bar and ran a tab!

Fran isn't a bar person, and she's been unwell for a very long time. We've been to an "upscale lounge" which is technically a bar, but this was a loud and boisterous sports bar. They served all the drinks in plastic cups, no waitresses, so you bellied up to the bar every time you wanted another drink.

I may have been in college the last time I went to a place like that!

No, I used internet explorer and saw the sparkles yesterday. If I use anything else they are gone. Right now I see little red x in the box.

Hahaha my corner pub is like that on Fridays (and sometimes Saturdays) if you aren't sitting at the bar.

I am very happy I never have to do another 5th Grade DC trip!

FYI, my friend from Ireland gets all p'd off that we call it Saint Patrick's Day in the US. She says it's Saint Paddy's Day!!!

A friend of mine raises money for the brain condition we have.. last year, when she hit x amount, she got a mohawk. She's doing it again, and trying to get people worldwide to join.


I'm debating it. Eek. Not a huge one. And I've seen pics of people wearing it not spiked that look semi normal....

Hmm. I wish I knew if it'd look good!
