Are Mondays that much more crowded at MK in summer?

I booked a last minute trip and am staying 4 nights at pop. I planned on going to MK Tuesday & Wednesday. Now i'm thinking about switching to Monday & Wednesday so we can use Tuesday to rest.
Also I would have to figure out how and if I can modify the fast passes to see if they'd even be available another day, without deleting first.

With only 4 nights, I would not take a rest day, but I consider our Disney days too precious to rest for the entire day . I don't notice a marked increase in crowds, but I avoid the summer months. MK on Sundays and Wednesdays have always been the worst for me, but even that hasn't been standard.

Have a look at this crowd calendar. MK is the least recommended park EVERY Monday. That usually means it will be the most crowded park.

With only 4 days at WDW, I wouldn't take a whole day off. But in summer time, I'd definitely be taking a few hours off every afternoon back at the resort to escape the exhausting heat and the longest lines of the day.

It's been hit or miss but a week or so again it got very crowded and summer crowds are here so I woudln't expect a huge different between monday or tuesday anymore.

I'm not sure I would skip the first day not going to any park.. I like that pad where I can skip a rest day and just add on another park day if something goes wrong (weather, your must do thing wasn't working that day, you weren't feeling great).
