I jsut tried to buy tickets to the Halloween party and the website said there were no online tickets left for any night between now and the end of October... can this be right?

Flying all the way from New Zealand I had hopped to see the party but maybe I've missed out?

I saw someone post yesterday that all dates but one were sold out, so yes, it's possible that one sold out now as well.

Try calling when they open today. I have seen some reports of straggler tickets being available by phone after they sell out online, but that's really just an outside chance.

Are you staying at one of the onsite hotels? If so, I would call and see if there's any chance they could help you.

We missed MHP last year by one day (stupid school!!) but it really wasn't that bad. There's still lots of Halloween decorations and fall colors everywhere (the main gate is crazy!!), Halloween merch, seasonal food options, characters in Halloween costumes on Main Street (and Jack Skellington near Haunted Mansion), the Halloween display at the Grand Californian (and at the Grand: pumpkin hot cocoa and hot apple cider! Yummy!) Dia De Los Muertos, Haunted Mansion holiday - all of this is available to regular ticket holders. So, even if you miss the party, you will definitely still have a fun Halloweeny time!

A few days ago, the only date available was the 19th. Not sure if it sold out for that day.

Unfortunately, these special events do sell out pretty much every year. They only sell a certain amount of tickets nowhere near capacity. If you know you want to attend, it's best to buy them as soon as you can.

We got our tickets for the 24th day before yesterday. The site said all sold out but when I called the automated response said the 24th and 26th were available. I waited on hold for 11 minutes and by the time I got an agent the only date available was the 26th. So while they do seem to hold some tickets for phone orders they are probably all sold out by now.

If you are staying on site I have read that concierge hold some tickets for guests. How many of you are going? If it is just one or two I would try to find someone who is going on the same dates and go to the ticket booth with them. Disney sometimes holds tickets for parties were some have tickets and others don't. Have not heard about this happening this year but they have done it in previous years.

What date do you need and how many? The fewer you need, the better your chances. First of all, call the ticket line. You never know if there will be a ticket available. As stated before, on site hotel guests have access to tickets. The tickets go on sale first thing at the front desk on the morning of the party. You must be a registered guest, no walk ups. The tickets go quickly. And, as stated above, you might be able to get a ticket by going to the ticket booths with someone who already has a ticket for that day's party. If the person shows hard tickets and asks for one more for you, you may be able to buy a ticket. This method worked for some people last year. Have not read any reports of people saying it worked this year.

I know it may be difficult for you with the time difference. But try calling them, sometimes they have a few available but not online.

Isn't reselling Disney tickets against Disney's, and DISboard's, policy? I understand that all tickets state that they are not for re-sale. Where is Stubhub getting the tickets from? Unless Disney has authorized Stubhub to sell MHP tickets, buying tickets there doesn't sound right.

The OP still isn't out of luck. If they will be staying on site or if they know someone who will be staying on site, they could still get tickets from the front desk.

Call! Our date had been sold out for weeks online, but I called and they had 3 for us. My SIL called the next day and got 3 more. You might get lucky!

Did you just call the normal ticket line? I called there a few days ago and the recorded message said that the dates were completely sold old. I waited for a while for someone to answer the phone, but gave up thinking it was a lost cause. I was just wondering if you had the same recorded message when you called and if you still waited to have a live person answer the phone.

EDIT TO ADD: I just called to see if I could book a hotel stay and still get tickets and was told that if tickets are sold out, there is no way to get tickets, even for guests staying on property. I suppose I could get a different answer if I call and talk to someone else, but I'm going to let it go.

Sorry! I forgot to come back to this. I had called the AP line. Sorry you were not able to get any tickets :(

Someone on the Halloween Superthread had a friend call one of the on site hotels last week to ask this same question. She was told that on site hotel guests will be able to purchase day of MHP tickets, but that the tickets are very limited. So I would call again to speak with a different CM (ask for a lead if need be), just to see if you get a different answer.
