Are Little Einsteins characters part of Disney Jr. Show?

My 3 year old DS is obsessed w/Little Einsteins!

Yes they are-- Little Einsteins, Jake & the Neverland Pirates, and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse are the three segments of the show.

They were when we went to it in September 2011. Not sure if they have changed the show since then.

Also, do they get to "meet" the characters before or after the show for pics,etc?

Actually there are 4 segments, Handy Manny, Little Einsteins, Jake and the Neverland Pirates (used to be Pooh and Friends, now Jake) and MM Clubhouse.

You do not get to meet the characters as part of this show. The characters in the show are puppets (small child sized but not human sized). But the show is fun and little kids love it. It usually runs several times a day each day.

I recommend sitting towards the back. We were in the front yesterday and it was very hard to see the characters. Luckily, we had to move because our daughter wanted to climb on stage. In he back, she had more room to dance around and she could see the characters.

Generally, Jake and Handy Manny are the only potential meet and greet characters in the Hollywoodland area from the Playhouse lineup. The Einsteins have been out before, but it was for Mickey's Halloween Party. ((This is, of course, DL CA only. The Einsteins are out daily at Hollywood Studios in FL))

They have actually been retired at Hollywood Studios.

Just checked Kenny the Pirate, they don't do regular meets anymore, but he still has June listed at Hollywood and Vine. I thought they had all left the meal too.
