Are kids' electric scooters allowed?

Heading to the Fort with four kids and don't have enough room for all their bikes. Thinking of taking their scooters instead. They have regular ones and electric ones.... I know they would rather have the electric ones. TIA

Not allowed as far as I know. Bikes and golfcarts only. Not even skateboards.

I sit corrected.
Strange, because I was told by a CM in November that electric scooters were not allowed because I actually have one for my 9 y/o and asked if I could bring it in the future.

I am not sure if that information is current, but I know it addresses many items. I would say it would be a good idea if someone that was staying at the Fort either currently or in the near future could ask if there is a current listing.

There were a few campers with electric scooters running around. I'm not sure why they wouldn't be allowed. Bikes, scooters, golf carts are everywhere so why not.

Looks like good clean fun and there is always a cm looping around every few hours or so and never did they stop the kids from using their electric scooter.

I would just bring and have fun!

I keep,trying to upload a pic of our little ones on their scooters last month...no comments from anyone that it wasn't allowed. That's the first I heard of that possibility.

The only comment I will give is: Glad I got the right info on here. I am really glad this topic was brought up. Now I can plan on bringing ours for our daughters.

I am glad this topic was brought up, too! Thanks for the information of what is allowed. I didn't think skooters were allowed either. We didn't know until a couple of yrs ago at the beach, the driver couldn't hold a child on their lap. My husband did! We don't think of ourselves as someone breaking the rules but we were. We were never stopped for it but just learned it when reading the rules. Taking the time to read the rules is a good thing! LOL!
