Last year a boy on Heely's zipped past me yelling "Out of the way!!" in a grocery store and then crashed into the cold cut cooler. He actually fell into the cooler. The store now has a sign on the entry that Heely's are banned.
Kids who come at me on Heelys yelling "Out of my way!" get clotheslined. What can I say...it's an automatic self preservation reaction. Worked really well on the brat at Gatorland who was heading right for me on a downhill slope.Last year a boy on Heely's zipped past me yelling "Out of the way!!" in a grocery store and then crashed into the cold cut cooler.

roller skates... vs heelys?
common sense tells you not to wear roller skates in the mall..
personally i would love to ban them completely.
kids are kids.. wen parents are not around they will do what they wanna
ok...question for the parents who buy heelys
you keep saying that you consider them the same thing as rollerblades...you dont let your kids where them to stores, or in public, etc.
so why dont you just buy them rollerblades?!?!?!?!?!?
it makes absolutely no sense to me......i guess in my opinion its a waste of money if there seen as the exact same thing as rollerblades![]()
I find them very dangerous when used in public places, not to mention annoying. They should be treated as roller skates and not used any place where you wouldn't wear skates. I've seen too many kids in malls and stores an on crowded public sidewalks using Heelys in a reckless manner. They expect you to move out of their way just because they have wheels in their shoes.
