Are GOTG Scenes Random or Fixed to Each Elevator?

OK, I rode GOTG for the first time today. I understood there are 6 scenes and since there are 6 elevators I wondered if each scene is fixed to an elevator. Bottom line is I want to ride GOTG twice tomorrow and would prefer not to repeat a scene if I can help it.

They are random. I've ridden about 28 times. Our first trip, we did get a lot of repeats of Give Up the Funk and I Want You Back. Last trip, we kept getting Free Ride and Born to be Wild. My 2 favs are Free Ride and Give up the Funk. Last trip, rode maybe 10 times and never got Give up the Funk. Took me about 18 rides to get all 6 rides.

Random. We rode seven times in June, and got five of the six songs, even though we never were in the middle gantries at all.

My DW had read that some of the songs are more extreme than others, causing people to be nauseous. Has it calmed down? Do you find certain songs to be worse than others? Hoping to find some current info so I won't be the only one in my family riding it.

Certain songs are definitely more intense than others. We never felt nauseous. I prefer this ride over TOT.

Certain songs are more intense. Personally, Free Ride is the hardest on me, but I love it!! I feel Give Up The Funk is the least intense, and most over all fun. That said, you don't know what you are going to get.

I got Free Ride twice today. Yesterday it was Best Shot. Free Ride was more intense but not by a whole lot.

Free Ride: 8 Drops

Burning Love: 7 Drops

Yup, definitely random. I did it 10 times on the premiere night and hit 5/6 scenes. I've done it twice since and had repeats. Still need Burning Love!

One of the CMs during the party was adorable and as the night went on she started recognizing certain guests. She explained she had been on it 35 times and was still missing I Want You Back and one other scene. She was excited/annoyed when it turns out that was the scene we got!

I liked Free Ride and I Want You Back the most. The drops were great and I laughed through the entire ride with those songs! I liked the Give Up the Funk sequence the least. I really wanted to get Born to be Wild (love the song and I'd heard it was the most intense), but when I finally got that one, I thought it fell somewhere in the middle for intensity. But any of them are fun!

So we went on it a lot during the 4th of July weekend. My daughter and I ended getting up all of the songs. The first 7 rides, we got Freeride 6 of the times. And the scenes were exactly the same - baby Groot jumping on the anti-gravity button. After experiencing all of the songs, each of the songs seem to share scenes between each other (ie. Star Lord kicking the little monster like a field goal, all of the Guardians jumping out of their cages, Drax jumping out of the monsters mouth and punching him, etc).. I think each song has a specific 3 scenes that repeat each time you get that song (but I am not sure). Different songs might have one or two of the same scenes as another song. I am just guessing, as I did not take detailed notes. Though I do know that no other song other than Freeride had baby Groot jumping on the anti-gravity button. At least in the number of rides we did.

Edited to Add: each of the three elevator rows can have any of the six songs.

And if anybody has the answer to this, I would appreciate it. In the area before you board the gantry lift, There is an area where the collector has collected some items from past Disneyland attractions. There is Harold from the Matterhorn (the abominable snowman), Delores from the Country Bear Jamboree Summer Hoedown (the octopus with the pink bow), the portrait (and I think luggage) from the old Tower of Terror Lobby, and a prominent chair with zebra print. Does anyone know if that chair is from a specific ride that has been retired or redone? I keep thinking it must be from Jungle Cruise or Swiss Family Robinson, but I can't seem to find any old pictures of this chair online.

This might be fun as it's own thread! With a first post keeping track of all the artifacts. I've read that they will occasionally be changed. I'm betting the cocoon right when you enter will eventually hatch.
