Just read on another board that in some places prices are coming back down. Someone said their gas station dropped 30 cents a gallon.

Has anybody heard of this or seen it? Sure would be a relief.

I haven't seen it, but in cases where the local athorities are busting station owners for price gouging, I can imagine that it would be coming down!!! :)

If by dropping you mean a four cent increase, then yes they are dropping here

hahaha the prices dropping must be a trick question or er answer rather...see the prices have droped from $3.32 all the way down to $3.00 PHEW!!! that was a close one...

If by dropping you mean a 6 cent increase they are dropping here too. LMAO.

Well I'm not sure. We drove by one station on the way home and he had a 7 in his hand. I don't know if he was bumping the price down 2 cents to 3.17 :cool1: or up to 3.79 :earseek: . I need to check gasbuddy.com to see if there are any updates since this morning.

Ours is holding steady at $2.99. Been there for a couple of days.

It jumped to $3.19 two days ago. Yesterday it went to $3.38. This morning several, but not all, dropped back to $3.19.

My DH filled up at noon today for $3.12 and when I drove by 4 hours later, it had jumped to $3.29. So, NO, gas is not going down around here. As a matter of fact, the Cumberland Farms we usually go to is on the gasbuddy.com list as the highest in Western Mass. You can't tell me someone(i.e. oil company)is not making a HUGE profit off this unfortunate situation. The gas in the tanks today was bought months ago for alot less than what they're charging now!

ours went from $3.29 to $3.10. i think it was because they were the highest station in town and they weren't getting any business. all the other stations in town were $3.09

On the way to work at one place it was $3.19 and another place I had seen it for $2.89..I am sure the cheaper place will have raised the price by the time I drive home..

Dropped to $2.99 during the day today.

FYI, gas futures fell 10% today.

 Our whole city is holding at $3.09. But there is NO price fixing!

3.79, to 3.49, to 3.19 to 2.99. What the heck? Great, we are now under $3.00. I'll save the boot scootin boogie. What are YOU at $2.53? That's where Tampa is.....figures, it is Jeb land.

Gas prices started dropping in Bowling Green, KY last night. They haven't dropped a lot (.14 gallon) but every bit is good in my book!

Can't say they are dropping here either - the other night we were at $2.99 for regular, now we are in the range $3.29 - $3.45. :scared1:
