are fastpasses connected b/w parks?

Hi All,

I'm wondering - are the fastpass machines in Dl connected to the FP machines in CA? I can't remember what the time frame is, but can I avoid the wait for another fastpass if I go to the other park?

They are not connected. You can get on in DL and then run over to DCA and get one there.

Yes you can go to the other park. Just keep in mind that the walk will take 15 or 20 minutes from one DL FP location to one in DCA.

When you get one FP in a park, you need to wait until the return time listed on it or two hours, before you can get another in that park.

Right off the bat in the morning the return times will be soon and you can get 2 or maybe 3 in the first hour.

We don't zig zag back and forth just to get FPs. But when we are ready to leave one park for the other, we make sure to grab a FP before we leave if we are able to. And then we pick up a FP first thing getting to other park.

Also, you can ignore the cut off time on a FP, even if it says come back between 3-4 you can come back anytime after 4

Yes - true that ! You do not have to use the pass before the expiration time, but you do have to wait until the return time before trying to use them. The pass is good for that day only and you have until park closing to use them. A castmember once confirmed this on a trip and we had no idea, just got back a few days ago and used several passes after the return time without any issues or questions.

And as everyone has already confirmed, no the passes are not linked between the parks so you won't have any conflicts. Since the passes don't expire by the return time it is a good idea to get passes from both parks especially for the following:

~Haunted Mansion while it's currently the Holiday Mansion (long line!)
~Indiana Jones
~Space Mountain
~Big Thunder Mountain
~Splash Mountain

~Soarin
~Tower of Terror (usually the wait time it pretty good but you never know, Soarin is a higher FP priority)
~That River Run ride if you want
