Are Fantasy deck 5 staterooms noisy?

I am considering booking a VGT on the Disney Fantasy knowing full well we may be placed above the adult clubs or below the pool deck (deck 5 and deck 10). We've done deck 10 before and it was fine. I'm a fan of sandwiching our stateroom between other stateroom decks but the savings of VGT are pretty significant, so I might be willing to roll the dice! Just wondering if anyone staying above the adult clubs could give me some feedback on noise on deck 5 on the Fantasy? Thanks!

We stayed on deck 5 aft this past January before the dry dock. It was very quiet, however we had horrible vibrations in our stateroom. It was like trying to sleep on top of a jack hammer. I will never book aft on the Fantasy again, because of the vibration. If it weren't for the vibration I would have loved the location.

Hi! We've stayed on deck 5 aft, above the adult clubs. We love the location of being aft and the accessibility it gives us to some of the places we go most. We did not experience and issues with noise from the adult areas what-so-ever. BUT-- walking midship from our room was noisy, cramped, and very frustrating as we had to walk past the narrow kids club hallways. Because of this, we will not be staying on deck 5 in the near future. It wasnt unbearable, but trying to walk forward or midship on deck 5 was an ordeal with having to pause for kids and adults checking in/picking up from the club, etc. We often times ended up taking the elevator up or down, then walking since it was a nuisance to us.

Thank you, both, for your responses. Ok, I may have to re-think this. I don't know if I want to be on Deck 5!!

We did a vgt on the fantasy in October and were assigned stateroom 5032. We loved the location so much that we booked the same stateroom and the adjoining stateroom for our May cruise.

This stateroom had the extended balcony, which we loved.

We also walked thru the kids areas on our way to dinner and such and were never bothered with all the activity there.

We have taken 3 Fantasy cruises and all of them were VGT. We were on Deck 5 for two of them and experienced no problems with excessive noise or traffic. If I remember correctly our staterooms were mostly on the starboard side and either midship or forward. We would be happy to be assigned to any of these rooms again and would love the opportunity for another VGT rate,

The only issue we had on Deck 5 was teenagers walking past our room late in the evening, cursing loudly as they went to the handicapped entrance at Vibe. One call to Guest Services got that put to a stop quickly.

We were in 5516 (far forward) and it was quiet, but the vibrations were strong when going into a port. I wake up early anyway, and the rest of my family sleeps like the dead, so it didn't really affect us. Hallway traffic was not an issue.

Only issue I have with deck 5 rooms is if I get placed in the room next to Pepe's door

People have been known to knock on the door/walls surrounding it at all hours.

Just got off Dream room 5150. No problems from Pepe but the hallways are very busy with kids and activities from the clubs. Didn't seem to bother us much however in the evening. Note this room has an extremely large verandah which is great. I would say its about 3 times wider and twice as deep. Great to relax and stretch out.

Hi we've stayed in rooms 5154 and 5156 on the Dream and 5009 and 5011 on the Fantasy. We didn't really experience much noise problems in either rooms.

When we were in 5011 and 5009 we were above the Walt Disney Theatre, but we didn't really hear much noise coming from there when shows/movies were playing.

We personally enjoy Deck 5 since it is the same deck as the Kids Clubs and Nursery. You are also only a few decks away from the main action in the atrium, and you don't have to worry about getting elevators on your floor.
