Are expiration tickets purchased for Disney World around 2007 good at Disneyland too?

That is so interesting. We traded in leftover Disney World days several years ago. I remember it being a bit of a hassle but they did it. Did they discontinue the practice because a single Disneyland ticket is more expensive than Disneyworld?

It happened around the time WDW moved to RFID tickets.

As mom2rtk said, DLR stopped accepting WDW tickets just after WDW switched over to the RFID tickets (in late 2013). Prior to that, they would allow guest to use WDW tickets to enter DLR (exchanging one day at a time), but it was never a written/official policy. After WDW switched over to the RFID system it became more difficult for DLR to figure out if the tickets were still valid and if so, how many days they had on them (WDW and DLR uses two different ticketing systems). My guess is that it just proved to be too cumbersome, so they decided to stop doing the exchange, but because it was never an official policy, they didn't have to make any sort of announcement.

I remember doing it too, several times, and it worked out well for us, because I used to buy us 10 day WDW park hoppers, no expire passes. If we happened to be out west, we could visit DL for a day on the cheap. (But I remember reading that they stopped it.)

And of course the non expiring tickets are gone now.

You can't get non-expiring ones anymore, but mine better darn sure work whenever we try them in Florida!
