Are E-mail codes transferrable?

Hi there everyone! This is my first Disboards post. I just wanted to ask the experts here if the Disney email codes could be given to family members or friends? I got a code that is good through July and I wont be using it.

No they are non transferrable as they are attached to your name. So you would have to show ID when you check in and prove that you would be in the room otherwise get charged rack rate.
