First time renting points, so I am clueless. Hoping to get into the room before heading to MK next week. Do we even have a chance?

We can leave everything will Bell Services, but won't be back until after midnight. They can run the luggage up that late, right?

Yes, they can run your luggage up. And yes, rooms can be ready early, but hope for the best and plan for the worst. It may be best when checking in to let them know that the first available room would be your first choice, and that you are not fussy about what location you end up at.
By early, I mean 1 pm or so at best, not any earlier than that.

I think I will ditch the TP room request this time around. We have a savannah view studio booked, so I don't really care where we wind up.

Our experience has been 50/50 in over 20 trips.

Examples:
One time during Spring Break, our room was available at 10:30 am at BCV.
Another time, Spring Break, our room wasn't available until after 5 at BWV.
Our last trip, this month, our room was available at 11:00 am at BWV.

It's completely random.

How early?
I'm guessing in maybe 20 trips, only a few times we got a room at 4 oclock. Most time maybe an hour or two early and a few times mid- late morning.

But we have never gotten a room ready text on the ME bus or at the airport while landing. We tend to take flights that has us landing about 9 am.

I'm hoping for 2pm.

Our DVC room has been ready before noon, around noon, and early afternoon during 20 plus stays. I guess we have been lucky but it’s definitely possible. We mostly stay at BWV but also have a few stays at BCV, Poly, and a couple at OKW years ago. Maybe it varies in day of week at check in (Saturday might have a lot of check ins) and size of villa but I have no real idea.

The owner I rent from at Wyndham Bonnet creek mentioned certain days that had more check ins and outs, I think Friday and Saturday were the main ones. Timeshares might be different from non time share rooms at Disney as well. Seems like air fare deals are in Tuesday Wednesday and Saturday, at least for Southwest.

Yeah I'm not really sure what to expect with a July 4th check in.

DVC rooms have to be vacated by 11. It will depend on the number of rooms being vacated on that day and the time the people actually leave. I would guess there will not be a lot of people checking out in July 4 so your chances for 2PM may be higher than you think... In the 25-30 times we have stayed the latest room ready we had was in the 2PM range mostly it was ready prior to that... But there were also a few time we arrived around 4-5 PM

I got a room once at Boardwalk at 7:00 am! So miracles do happen. But like others said, it’s extremely rare! I’ve had many more stays that it was much closer to 4 or even after.

I thought the guest had to be in the room for them to deliver luggage to the room. Unless you are saying they will deliver the luggage late when the guests arrive at the resort.

Same with us, but much more than 20 trips. However, I've noticed that in the early years of our DVC membership (2002 was when we joined) it was much higher. Last few years, much less likely. Once, got in at around 10:00am at BWV, then 11:00am at BCV-but that was 10 years ago. In the last few years, we've even had times of 4:30-5:00.

Don't do that. Definitely request a room close to the lobby, especially if you're staying at Kidani.

We are at Jambo. Should I still make a request?
I would. Maybe somebody else on here can pipe in about the savannah views near the ends of the Jambo buildings, but unless they are spectacularly better, I would want to be closer to the lobby.

Me too. But they run that late, don't they?
