Are discounts offered for POFQ?

POFQ wasn't listed in the latest PIN email I received (there were a few others missing, too). Are discounts offered for POFQ? If so, are they rare? Thinking of staying there next time but not if I get discounts for everywhere else except there. I'm wondering if it's hard to get a discount there since there are much less rooms than the other resorts, and I know they only set aside so many rooms for discounts.

It's always best to give WDW a call and ask. I've had instances where resorts/dates are offered, but they weren't mentioned in the pin flyer.

I think the above advice is good. Just in the last couple of years Disney has started cutting discounts on a couple of properties, the ones that are more popular and usually can fill up without a huge discount (POFQ is the moderate that does not seem to get the same discount the other mods do).

But, sometimes just because the resort isn't mentioned in black and white doesn't mean it isn't included.

I haven't used one and so far they haven't had one with the AP discount either.

I have it booked for December and am hoping that a discount (AP or GP or free dining) will come my way. I really don't want to change but if I can save I might just do it.

Yes, me. I saved a few trips (all within a few days of each other) to POFQ in Nov. About a week and a half later I got a PIN. I was able to book two rooms with it. It's for 20% off.

BTW, the dates I needed were slightly different than the dates on the PIN email. I called and my exact dates actually were available with the PIN.

YAAAAY! We've done deluxe and value, I really want to try a moderate. POFQ is my first choice because of its size. I just know that as soon as we see any offer for the timeframe we're looking at, we'll have to call right away!

We got AAA discount for Decmber for POFQ.

We got a 35% Pin by phone in late April for POFQ. We were already booked, so this was a nice bonus.

When I was there this past Nov/Dec I booked several bounceback deals for 2012. I wasn't able to get POFQ for my May trip so had to go with CSR, but do have POFQ booked for Sept 1st-8th and also Oct 27th-Nov 3rd under the bounceback. I was also able to book POFQ under the AP discount for our Feb 4th-11th trip this year. Funny thing is we wanted CSR for both the Feb and Sept trips and couldn't get a standard room there, so had to go with POFQ.

I've never had any luck booking a room at POFQ with a discount. I've tried with FD & I've tried several times with the military deals with no such luck.

I really want to stay there someday!

Usually I think the moderate one's are either 10 or 15 %. Better than nothing.

I did Sept 2011. It was for 25% off the room! Good deal, but when I called, I could only get a "king" room with the code. It was ok for me because I was solo for 2 nights before heading to a convention at the Dolphin.
