Are Dining Reservations and Hotels Linked?

Quick Question: Currently we are staying at the Poly with a bounceback offer for 12/2 - 12/10 since we weren't able to use our DVC points to get the room size we needed for that time period.

Now, half of our waitlist has come in and and am waiting to see if we get the rest. If it does, we will cancel our stay at the Poly and stay at BLT and AKV. If we get lucky and get your room and have to cancel the Poly, under the new system, are my dining reservations also cancelled? I would had to have to go through the process of having to book them twice....
