Are Digital Gift Cards worth the hassle at Disney World?

I know we will spend a bunch of money next week at Disney. We usually charge everything to our room with our magic bands. Seems like gift cards aren’t easy to redeem. Costco has a deal and looks like if I buy online I would get e gift cards and if I swing by the store it would be physical cards. My question is if it’s worth it and if so is there a benefit to one over the other?

TIA

On Disneygiftcard.com you can add all your gift cards to "My Cards" then you can move all the balances from each digital card to one physical card. I do this every time I'm going to WDW so I only have to bring one gift card.

I just bought 2 of the ones on the offer and added them to cards I already had.

Worth it to me-- I like saving 5% - 10% on my disney purchases/DVC maintenance fees. Use disneygiftcard.com and consolidate; You can consolidate on a physical card (I don't like doing that, but does make things easier) and purchase everything on your magic band. Pay your bill the day before you leave (must be the night before). Viola!

I added a Disney gift card to my Apple Wallet, which makes it really use to pay from my phone. When I buy more gift cards, I transfer the balance to the one in my Apple Wallet using the Disney gift card web site.

good to know that I am not the only person who buys the digital cards and then adds them to a physical card. no credit card bill to dread after returning from the trip and anything left over goes towards the next trip combine all that with saving 5% or more and it seems hard to beat.
