Are DCA crowds the same as Disneyland?

Our first day is a Saturday and I planned on skipping the parks because it's supposed to be very crowded.(Taking all crowd calendars with a grain of salt.)

But then I thought if DCA isn't as crowded as Disneyland we could go there.

I never remember DCA being impossibly crowded, even on weekends, but I haven't been there in years. The last time I was there was pre-Carsland.

So if crowd calendars give Disneyland an 8-9, should I expect the same for DCA or would it be better? We'd probably be able to get in some time between 12-1:00 and stay all day unless we can't resist hopping over to Disneyland late in the evening.

Thanks!

the one advantage that DCA has is that the streets are wider, and there aren't a lot of chokepoints, so even though it may be busy, it doesn't feel as bad as DL can feel.

Typically if one park is busy, the other one will be similar. Since there are park hoppers and the parks are so close, it tends to not be too much of a difference.
