I was told at Bay, Sportchek & Athlete's World in my city that they aren't allowed to discount Crocs, yet they are discounted in U.S., plus some of you have mentioned getting discounts, so I'm confused!

Maybe they can't officially mark down the price tags, but when they have a store-wide promotion (i.e. buy one get one half, or take % off regular price) they can get away with it![]()
So I guess the answer to my question essentially is no...![]()
So on to another question....
I don't mind so much paying for something that I will use and will last but should I buy a knock off first to see if it will be something my arches can handle?

Can only tell you my experience with them. I wear orthotics in my sneakers and without them my hip aches. I tried Birkenstock sandals last year and after a while I couldn't wear them. I bought a pair of croc sandals: cleo, and wear them a lot and so far they haven't bothered my feet or hips.
I was thinking I would buy a pair of Crocs at disney but if they are a lot more I will get them at home. The are 34.99 here and I have seen them for 29.99 in Michigan (I live in a border city).
