I thought i had read somewhere that coolers were allowed just no glass or alcohlic beverages. But tonight i was reading the FAQ on Deb's site and it says NO COOLERS?

I had planned to bring our softsided cooler with us on our 2 water park days. I would hate to pack it and not be allowed to take it in. Or also hate to no take it only to find out i could have.

We brought our soft-sided cooler with snacks and sandwiches for 10 people in April of 2003 to Blizzard Beach. Actually we brought it into all the parks and had a picnic lunch each of the 10 days we were there. Saved big $$. Never were questioned at any of the security screening areas. Everything was pre-made and there was no glass or ice...just a frozen ice pack.

Well actually the blizzard beach FAQ says coolers are ok but the typhoon lagoon one says no coolers. Has anyone taken one to TL?

I personally didn't bring one. However on our 3/04 trip we did TL two different days. Both days I seen multiple coolers. Different sizes, right up to a standard size one. So, at they time they were obviously allowed into the park.

I was at TL on Oct 5th and we brought a smaller soft sidded cooler with us and they just let us in. We had water, pop, and sandwiches in the cooler and I put ice in zip-lock bags to keep it cool. It worked well and saved us some money.

Thank you for all the replies.

I knew I had read that people had taken coolers into the water parks and we were planning on taking our softsided cooler on wheels. It's not big and we just wanted some sandwiches and water with us.

However, when i was reading some info on locker rentals over on Deb's site I saw where it said in bold letters no coolers. But it was only on the TL FAQ and the BB FAQ said coolers were allowed I thought that was very odd.

Thanks again, I mind is at ease now as we are going to the water parks on 2 days and planning big meals on those evenings so we just wanted light and cheap meals for out lunches.

Hi LisaRay!:wave: We took our soft sided cooler bag with sandwiches.strawberries,drinks etc. into Typhoon Lagoon last year and it was so nice visiting a Disney park and not having to pay money for lunch for a change!;)Also free parking! :bounce: :Pinkbounc

Here's an quote from Disney's site....

"Disney's Water Parks have quick service restaurants and snack stands with a variety of offerings. There are also picnic areas where you may enjoy your own food, however, please note that no alcoholic beverages or glass containers are permitted."

Have fun!:sunny: ::MickeyMo
