Are character breakfast buffets basically the same?

We love Minnie's. Have been twice and always heaps of characters. Some have been really playful, and I fell in love with Pinoccio on our last visit
We have done Goofys for dinner once and we were not impressed at all. About 5 characters and mostly ones we didn't really know or care about. Hardly any interaction, no playfulness etc. maybe we got a bad night?

Yep, that's what they mean.

As far as food goes, I like Goofy's because they have some lunch-type items. However, it's the most expensive. I've done Surf's Up and we like that because of Mickey. I suppose if one of them had Donald, we'd be doing that one every trip!

It really seems like someone goofed on not having Donald at at least one of the meals. Like, a complete oversight that they STILL haven't noticed. Sigh. The wife and I are doing a no-kids trip in a couple months, and we are skipping character meals, but you'd better believe she'd be booking us one if Donald was there.

It is odd how they choose which characters are at which meal. I think Donald should be at Mickey's Surf's up breakfast, after all he is a water fowl. It's nice that Minnie is there, but she does have her own meal.
