Are Bounceback offers ever for the following year?

I was just curious as obviously if you go in January and get a BB offer, you may be more inclined to go back late in the year...but in our case, we'll be there in July, and won't go back before the end of the year...is there any chance that the BB offer (if offered) could cover dates into 2013?

I believe they are only for the current year. I went in November and the bounceback was only good through Dec. 31.

That's what I thought. Bummer. It's not likely that someone (in that situation) is going to come back the next month, especially if it involves air travel... might as well not even offer it, such a tease!

Possibly...back in Oct. '09 & Nov. '10, we had bounce backs for the month of Aug the following years (both times for FD). Sadly we couldn't take advantage of either as we had no plans of going in the summer at that time. I'm really hoping w have a BB for summer 2013 when we go this August.

I don't think a stay in July would have a bounceback for the following year, but I know that some people who stayed on property in October '11 were given a bounceback for FD from mid August- mid Sept. of this year.

I'm not sure how many rooms could be booked b/c, like I said, we could never take advantage as we knew we wouldn't be going in the summer months at that time. Now, I could have sworn that I read somewhere on these boards that a couple of folks who had been in August of last year got BB's for August of this year. I also have a friend who went last year & got a BB for August of this year but I can't remember if she was there in Aug. or Sept. of last year...I'll try to find out and will report back when I hear from her.

We were there in November of 2011 and I booked a bouceback for November 2012. So it's more than possible!

There was a BB offer in May that was good for the rest of 2011. In October there was no BB, and in Dec there was a bb for 2012. You can book one room per adult. One room would have to booked in your name and one in your dh's. I think its doubtful there will be a BB for 2013 out in July.

For the past two years, we have been to Disney in August and have gotten a bounceback offer for the following August for free dining.

I don't remember where I found out this information, but it has always worked for us -- dial 8844 from the phone in your Disney resort room and ask if there are any bounceback offers and book right there and then. It only requires a $200 deposit with full payment needed 45 days before your trip.

In December 2011 when I stayed at the Boardwalk Inn there was a Room Only Bounceback offer for various dates in 2012. So because of that we were able to get 35% off a Standard Club Level Room at the Boardwalk Inn for August 2012 from 9th - 23rd.

When I was at WDW Nov 26th-Dec 4th 2011, I booked three bouncebacks for May 2012, Sept 2012, and Oct/Nov 2012.

FYI that's the deposit if the BB is a package offer, like FD. If it's a room only BB you'll have to put down one night's stay......

Lately the BB's have run in cycles. There's usually a room only BB that starts sometime in Oct/Nov that has dates into the next year. That's what came out last year and is still being offered right now, and is the one that will probably continue to be offered until the FD BB begins again sometime in August (last year that FD BB came out around 8/8/11).

Unfortunately this room only BB is probably going to still be the one that the OP will see in July, with dates only until the end of this year.

The current Room Discount BB dates offered were 1/1—1/5/12, 1/8—1/12/12, 1/16—2/8/12, 2/12—2/18/12, 3/4—3/10/12, 3/18—3/31/12, 4/29—5/26/12, 6/3—6/9/12, 8/5—10/6/12, 10/21—11/3/12, 11/11—11/17/12, 11/25—12/1/12 and 12/9-12/15/12:

The FD BB that usually starts in August is to be able to book a FD package a year ahead for the next years FD dates. Last year DISer jgraney posted a copy of the FD BB flyer from their room:

This is the bounceback that I had in my room:

It runs from 8/17 thru 9/27/2012. Quick service for values and regular dining for the moderates. Be on the look out for this in your room.
Looks like maybe general public will maybe eventually get this . Lets hope!
The lady at the reservations said it was first placed in the rooms on 8/8/2011.

(This FD BB is the offer people booked last year for this years FD - notice that the dates offered to them in their BB are different than the FD offer that just came out. The FD BB was 8/17 - 9/27/12 compared to 8/25 - 9/29/12).

After the FD BB ends, probably sometime in Oct/Nov, the cycle will start again with another Room Only BB will begin and will include dates into 2013...

Just remember to call 8844 from your resort room BEFORE checking out
