Are Beach Club Points Hard to Find?

I have been searching all the rental sites and the Dis for rental points at Beach Club for 11 months out. None of the sites seem to have any and no one has offered any on the Dis. Of course then I notice someone offered points on the Dis today, but expired before my trip. Is there a reason Beach Club points are so hard to find? The resort had plenty of availability in September. Do you think it will be hard to book Beach Club at 7 months for a September trip?

BCV is a very popular and small resort. Its popularity has to do with location (easy walk to Epcot and the Skyliner), theming, and pool (Stormalong Bay).

In terms of size, BCV has about 3.0 million points, out of a total of about 61.4 million points at all WDW DVC resorts (4.9% of the total).

It's one of the smallest resorts.

And then there's Murphy's law - if you're looking for it then that's the time you won't find any.

However, I frequently see them for rent so it will happen for you I'm sure.

BCV is small and popular. 7 months might be tough but honestly, until you can book, you never know.

On FB groups owners often get $22+/pt on BCV rentals so they don't rent through rental companies where they get $15-16. There is so much demand for them and most owners who own BCV are wanting to use them personally rather than rent them out. Hopefully you can find points somewhere!
