are awnings allowed on the beach at Vero?

We were looking for a large umbrella to take to Vero and came across a 10'x10' awning for the same price. Are we allowed to use something like that?

The beach is public property, so yes you can use it. I'd recommend using 'good form' and setting it up either side of where the resort rented chairs & umbrellas are thou.

Absolutely! I would not want to be in the way, just want a large enough shade space for us so the kids can get out of the sun as needed (there are 7 of us so that's why we were thinking of something a bit larger).
