Are Avis or Hertz easily accessible from Disney?

I can use my rewards from my AMEX card for a $50 reward to Avis or Hertz - yea, free rental. We just need it for one day. I'm still debating if it's a good deal or not since I know Alamo is $35 for a day and I could use my points to get something else I need. Unfortunately there aren't any restaurant gift cards from there I can use.

But are Avis and hertz easily accessible from Disney? Maybe that can help in my decision.

They're not on WDW property, but they'll pick you up at your WDW resort.

I assume Avis has a similar service, but I'm not an Avis user.

Avis is at the Hilton in Downtown Disney. I'm dropping off my car there in October.

As has already been posted, Avis has a desk at the Hilton. They also have a courtesy shuttle that will pick you up at your hotel and return you to your hotel at the end of your rental. Or you could just take a WDW bus to DTD and walk over to the Hilton.

I'd go for Avis and take the bus to DTD then walk over. In all honesty, my experience with waiting for rental palces to "pick me up" has been like watching paint dry.
