Are armbands needed at BLT pool?

I know when we stay at BCV, there is a CM at the entrance to Stormalong Bay. Once you show your room key, you get an armband. Then you can just come and go by showing your armband. I like this, as once we get the armbands, I take my nephew's room key, so he doesn't lose it at the pool.

Is this the same set up at BLT pool? We will stay there for the first time in May. I seem to remember someone saying you needed your key EACH TIME you came and went. Just hoping to avoid some lost keys with my teenage nephew!

No wrist bands. There is a fence around the entire pool with a card reader at the entrance.

There are several gate entrances around the pool and you need your room card to get in. You need to room card to get into the building always because the doors lock behind you. It takes a little getting use to, but your finally learn to have your room key ready ahead of time before your trip is over!

Love that too bad they don't do that for all the pools....
